1. WHO WE ARE
Nest Egg (“the app”) is developed and published on Google Play by REDOY
ENTERPRISE (“we”, “us” or “our”). This privacy policy explains what
information the app handles, how it is used and protected, and the choices you

2. SUMMARY
Nest Egg works entirely offline on your device. We do not collect, receive,
store on our servers, sell or share any personal information. The app has no
account or sign-up, no advertising, no analytics and no crash-reporting
services, and it does not request the Internet permission, so it cannot send
your information anywhere.
3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We do not collect any personal or sensitive user data. We do not collect your
name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, files, device
identifiers, advertising ID or usage data.
4. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
To work, the app saves the information you type into it. This information is
kept in a private database inside the app on your device, and only Nest Egg
can read it. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. It includes:
– Transactions you enter (amount, date, category and optional note)
– Spending categories, monthly budgets and savings goals
– Your app settings, such as currency and theme
5. HOW THE INFORMATION IS USED
The information stored on your device is used only to provide the app’s
features to you, for example to show, sort and summarise what you have
entered. It is not used for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.
6. SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We do not share, sell, rent or trade any user data with third parties, because
the app does not send any data off your device. No third-party software
development kits (SDKs) that collect data are included in the app.
7. PERMISSIONS
Nest Egg does not request any Android permissions. It does not access the
internet, does not show notifications, and cannot access your location,
contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files or other apps’ data.
8. EXPORTING YOUR DATA
If you use Settings > Export to CSV, Nest Egg creates a spreadsheet file of
your transactions and saves it only to the location you choose with Android’s
file picker. After that, the file is under your control. The app does not
upload it anywhere.
9. NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE
Nest Egg is a personal record-keeping tool. It does not offer banking, loans,
payments, investing or financial advice, and it does not connect to any bank
or financial account.
10. DATA SECURITY
Your information stays on your device and is protected by Android’s app
sandbox, which stops other apps from reading Nest Egg’s private storage.
Because nothing is transmitted over a network, there is no risk of the data
being intercepted in transit. You can add protection by using a screen lock on
your device.
11. BACKUPS
If you have turned on Android’s backup feature, Android may include the app’s
data in your personal Google account backup or in a device-to-device transfer.
These backups are created and managed by Android and Google under your Google
account settings. We never receive or have access to them. You can turn backup
off in your device settings.
12. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Your information is kept on your device for as long as you keep it in the app.
You can delete individual items at any time inside the app. To delete
everything, open the app and use Settings > Erase all data, or uninstall the
app. Either action permanently removes all data the app has stored on your
device. Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to
delete on our side.
13. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Nest Egg is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly
collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because the app
collects no personal information, no data from children is collected or
shared.
14. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the GDPR (European Union and
United Kingdom) or the CCPA (California) may give you rights to access,
correct or delete your personal data. Because all data stays on your device
and under your control, you can view, change or delete it directly in the app
at any time. If you have any request or question, contact us using the details
below.
15. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example if the app
gains new features. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last
updated” date, and, where appropriate, in the app. We encourage you to review
this policy periodically.
